Info Session on the process of accreditation of NGOs

The Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of UNESCO in collaboration with the ICH NGO Forum of NGOs accredited to the 2003 Convention is pleased to announce the Info Session on the process of accreditation of NGOs providing advisory services to the Committee to be held online 15th of March 2023 from 1-2 pm CET. The info session is being organised following the ongoing concerns and debates on the need for a more balanced geographical representation of NGOs accredited to the 2003 Convention.

Its aim is to inform the NGOs working in the field of safeguarding ICH within the SEE Region on the opportunities related to the accredited status and strengthen their capacities in successfully applying for accreditation.

The Info session will be facilitated by the members of the Forum’s Steering Committee, Ms. Tamara Nikolić Đerić, representative of Electoral group II (Eastern Europe) and Mr. Martin Andrade Perez, representative of Electoral group III (Latin America).
