Photographic exhibition: the world through the eyes of your students of photography
The Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of UNESCO presents the photographic exhibition: Living Heritage: the world through the eyes of your students of photography in the city of Plovdiv on 20th January 2023 at 17:30 in the Regional Ethnographic Museum.
The exhibition presents through photographic images the interaction between students of photography at the Prof. Asen Diamandiev Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts in Plovdiv, the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy of Theatre and Film Art in Sofia and New Bulgarian University and the living heritage of Bulgaria. This cultural wealth, reflected in the eyes and through the lens of a new generation of photographers, will lead the viewer to weekdays and holidays, to familiar dates on the calendar and new, hitherto unknown events; it will convey states of mind and emotions generated by the contact with tradition, and will highlight the living heritage as part of the modern way of life.
The exhibition was also presented in Sofia, in the Crystal open gallery in June 2022.
