The living heritage of traditional Bulgarian cuisine

The Regional Centre implements the project “The living heritage of traditional Bulgarian cuisine” under the program “Program for Restoration and Development of Private Cultural Organizations” of the National Culture Fund.
Traditional Bulgarian cuisine is an important topic that reveals social relations, significant moments in the calendar, enduring links of local communities with the natural environment, and is an important element of local cultures. The project interprets the living heritage of traditional cuisine in a photographic exhibition, digital catalogue, and short films.
The first event aimed at the promotion of the project’s importance among wide public and youth, was held in the town of Smolian with the support of the Culture Club.
